4×4 Tweed Heads supply and install a wide range of rated recovery points for all makes and models of 4WD. If you are planning on taking your 4WD vehicle off-road and into uncharted territory then rated recovery points are a non-negotiable accessory as they have the potential to get you out of sticky situations. Our team of experienced mechanics are all 4WD drivers themselves and can advise you on the recovery point options best suited to your specific vehicle and usage requirements.

Recovery Points:

Getting stuck or bogged when four wheel driving is an inevitability, and your vehicle will require rated recovery points to pull you out of the sticky situation. A rated recovery point needs to be able to safely withstand the load of a recovery, which is something that most stock tow points aren’t designed to do.

At 4×4 Tweed Heads, we are equipped to install a number of different rated recovery points including rear and hitch receiver. We carry two main brands, Ironman and Drivetech, which have been selected based on their quality, reliability and affordability. We never install anything on your vehicle that we wouldn’t be comfortable using on our own 4WDs.

Ironman Recovery Points:

Ironman’s range of recovery points includes options for every make and model of 4WD. All of their recovery points are powder coated bright red to make them easily identifiable – even when covered in dirt and mud. With holes to suit a 4.75t shackle, hooking up is simple and compatible with all standard recovery kits.

Drivetech Recovery Points:

Drivetech are all about quality products and their recovery points don’t disappoint. We recommend using Drivetech recovery points in conjunction with their bull bar and other products to maximise their performance, however they are compatible with non-Drivetech products as well.
